About The Position
We are an International Spirits Supplier searching for a full-time Brand Ambassador for the New York City market to help grow our brands.
We are an International Spirits Supplier searching for a full-time Brand Ambassador for the New York City market to help grow our brands.  The successful candidate will have a 3-5 year successful track record in the spirits industry in the NYC market with a focus on the on-premise channel and proven expertise in the Irish Whiskey category.  
 
Position Summary:
The Brand Ambassador will be the local expert on the supplier’s brand portfolio and will help to drive distributor, trade and consumer brand building activations.    

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Build brand distribution and relationships with target accounts in designated neighborhoods 
  • Increase cocktail menu features across the portfolio
  • Provide best in class brand training to the distributors, accounts and influencer consumers 
  • Engage the trade and consumers through brand sampling to drive trial and awareness 
  • Represent the brands at local and national consumer and trade events targeting influencers  
  • Support distributor efforts to achieve market goals for each brand
  • Share intelligence on consumer trends and competitive activity within market
  • Track, measure and report on budgets and recap results on a regular basis
Minimum Requirements:
  • 3-5 years sales experience within the spirits category with steady track record of success
  • Irish Whiskey category experience is a must
  • Excellent public speaking, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong local market knowledge with existing key accounts relationships  
  • Ability to understand, manage and responsibly track assigned budgets
  • Computer proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and web-based reporting tools
  • Willing to work full-time, non-traditional hours with up 25% of time traveling out of market 
  • Good credit history with a clean driving record and own transportation 
  • Able to lift / carry weight in excess of 40 lbs and sit/stand for prolonged periods
