About The Position

Overview
We are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and execution-focused Associate Manager, Performance Marketing to help scale Glossier’s display, video and affiliate channels. The ideal candidate possesses a strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment and is excited to play a pivotal role in supporting Glossier’s growth. This role would be a part of the Performance Marketing team and report to the Senior Manager, Performance Marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and efficiently scale our display and video campaigns across publishers like Google Display Network, YouTube, Amazon and other partners and be comfortable operating on a strict CPA/CAC model. This includes:
  • Perform daily bid and budget management and optimization
  • Generate forecasts, as well as compile weekly/monthly reporting for all major metrics and sharing insights/trends with the team
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize campaigns, ads, budget caps, and specific channel KPIs (like view rate and frequency)
  • Work with the team to prioritize and implement creative testing, expansion and testing of audiences, automated rules, beta opportunities, and landing page tests
  • Build out new display and video initiatives from keyword research and ad trafficking to campaign buildouts
  • Identify new opportunities for Glossier’s performance marketing programs by staying on top of new trends, specifically around ad ops and emerging publishers
  • Ensure brand safety by implementing all precautions and staying up-to-date with new brand safety tactics 
  • Execute on the operational & tactical affiliate marketing plan
  • Analyze and report on channel marketing results/develop recommendations
  • Manage relationships with external partners
  • Develop recruitment lists and define/design affiliate communications/newsletters  
  • Develop and execute affiliate activation and onboarding campaigns
  • Monitor affiliate marketing methods to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with program terms and conditions
  • Optimize existing partnerships by negotiating commission rates, program terms, and consumer offers
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage new online partner relationships to drive business objectives
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of consistent display and video experience working on a product-focused digital business (e-commerce or direct-to-consumer businesses preferred) or at an agency/marketing service provider
  • 1+ years of professional working experience with display and video partners, like Google Display Network and YouTube
  • Highly analytical with a strong knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and possesses strong attention to detail
  • Independent and self-directed
  • Strong time management capabilities
  • Strong critical-thinking skills and has a solution-oriented mindset
  • Highly knowledgeable about industry best practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Google/YouTube certification
  • Affiliate management experience
  • Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Looker
