Start It Sunday is ForceBrands’ initiative designed to raise awareness around the ‘Sunday scaries’ (the anxiety that affects 76 percent of Americans that is caused by the impending return to work). The motivational campaign empowers people to fear no Sunday and take on every Monday.

We checked in with the Founder and CEO of BOU Brands LLC, Robert Jakobi, to learn about his entrepreneurial background, how BOU is disrupting the $12B soup industry, and how he likes to Start It Sunday.

“Everyone who has a dream to change an industry and who are passionate about a product or an idea should go for it,” Jakobi told us.

Read on to explore how he approaches the start of each work week and discover his pro tip for motivating on Monday (hint: it doesn’t even involve motivating at all).

ForceBrands: What do your Sunday routines look like?
Robert Jakobi: It really depends on the weekend. If I am home and not traveling then I try to chill out. I will exercise at some point (I try to every day) and ensure I spend quality time with my wife and family.

FB: How do you approach the start of each work week?
RJ: I am always ready and up-to-date with my emails. I will take the weekend to catch up on stuff so I can start Monday in the most efficient way possible.

FB: What are some tips for motivating on Monday?
RJ: I have never really needed to give tips to any of my team members to motivate them on a Monday!

Given they love what they do, they are always motivated.
